Everything in woodworking is a box!  If you don't believe me, consider the following:

  • Cutting board is just a one sided box.
  • Table is just a cutting board with four sticks attached
  • Bookshelves are just stacked boxes
  • Jewelry box is a six-sided box as is a cedar chest
  • Wastebasket is a five-sided box.  I suppose you could add a lid.
  • I will think of more eventually
